Calabash boosts credentials with appointment of new Area Manager

At Calabash our people are our greatest asset, and we are committed to helping them fulfil their potential. To maintain the highest standards of customer service, we have now promoted Jhostin Mora Granja as Area Manager. After making his mark managing a team at Eataly on Liverpool Street, Jhostin will have responsibility for clients across The West End and help Calabash continue delivering best-in-class facilities management solutions.

Jhostin joined Calabash in 2022 as a Site Supervisor managing a team of nine people at Eataly. He had completed a degree in Business Management at the University of Buckingham and applied his knowledge to deliver our renowned levels of customer service. After gaining experience helping his team exceeding expectations, Jhostin is now ready to expand his horizons and learn new skills in working with clients across the West End.

Since the start of the year Jhostin has undergone training in meeting the needs of luxury retail clients including On Running and Nars Cosmetics. He spends his mornings visiting clients and supporting Calabash supervisors and returns to Eataly in the afternoon to apply what he has learned.

Jhostin said: “I am delighted with the promotion. I am learning so many new things from working with luxury retailers about different materials, techniques and processes. The attention to detail and enhanced cleaning techniques are key to making the right impression and I can then use that experience to drive up standards at Eataly.”

He added: “Calabash is a great employer and has given me the opportunity to develop my career. They look after their people. The business has a great future, and I am excited about playing my part in taking it to the next level.”

Jhostin has received support and training from Calabash’ Senior Retail Area Manager Thomas Salmon. Thomas commented: “We believe in promoting from within and doing what we can to develop our own talent to take the business forward. Jhostin has demonstrated great potential, and we are delighted to be helping him meet his goals.”
